Health Insurance in the World (Part V)

Social security is now known in the world and include any a social health insurance programs were developed in America in 1935 after major economic crises (Great Depression) in 1932. But at the time first social security legislation enacted in 1935, the insurance program health has not been included in the American social security system. Program that makes first is the old age insurance and disability, known as OASDI (old age, survivor benefits, and disability income). 

Only in America in 1965 add health insurance program which consists of Medicare (health insurance mandatory for the elderly or the elderly, disabled and people with kidney failure) and Medicaid (government assistance programs in the central and regional health insurance for the poor). After 1965, the U.S. social security program known with OASDHI (old age, survivor benefits, disability, and Health Insurance). 

 All social security program is administered by the federal government (central) rather than by government's part. However, in terms of commercial health insurance, the American government handed regulation to the states. Commercial health insurance developed rapidly after the occurrence of a major crisis in America.
